ArchivalResource

P. Northen day book, 1862-1863.

The collection consists of one small notebook containing the annotations of P. Northen listing accounts payable and amounts received, lists of supplies for Confederate army companies in the vicinity of Savannah and Augusta, travel expenses, and land transactions. Although by design sketchy and miscellaneous, the day book displays interesting aspects of the ordinary business activities during the Civil War period.
